This Saturday, the West Virginia Mountaineers (4-5, 2-4 Big 12) will travel to Manhattan, Kansas to battle it out with the Kansas State Wildcats (6-3, 3-3 Big 12).

WVU, who is coming off of a 24-3 loss to Oklahoma State, will be looking to get back on track and come one step closer to bowl eligibility. They will do so on the right arm of redshirt senior quarterback Jarret Doege. The Lubbock, Texas native has passed for 2,180 yards this season, with 11 touchdowns to 8 interceptions. Senior running back Leddie Brown has compiled 666 rushing yards on 151 carries. He has totaled 12 touchdowns, with 11 of them coming on the ground.

The Wildcats come into the game with one of the Big 12’s best running backs. Sophomore Deuce Vaughn has ran for 866 yards on 154 carries this season, all while tallying 12 rushing touchdowns. Defensively, sophomore Felix Anudike-Uzomah has been a serious threat on the line for the Wildcats, terrorizing the quarterback for 11 sacks on the year.

West Virginia opened as six-point underdogs for this weekend’s game against Kansas State. Considering the Mountaineers have won five of five past games against the Wildcats, there is definitely some good value on betting on the boys this weekend. There are quite a few online sportsbooks available in West Virginia and luckily, there are no restrictions on betting on college sports. If there is one game that’s worth a pretty petty, this is it.

Kickoff is set for noon, and the game will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
