After a 34-17 loss to the Kansas State Wildcats, West Virginia dropped to 4-6 overall and 2-5 in Big 12 play. The Mountaineers have to win their final two games to become bowl eligible.

This morning, Jerry Palm of CBS Sports released his post-week 11 bowl projections. Surprisingly, the Mountaineers were included.

Palm has the Mountaineers making a return trip to the Liberty Bowl, this time to face off against the Florida Gators. Coming off of a 70-52 win against Samford (yes, FCS Samford), many are wondering if Gator head coach Dan Mullen will make it through the end of the season.

Should this bowl matchup come to fruition, Neal Brown and company may be facing an entirely different Gator team, especially if Mullen is dismissed beforehand.

The Mountaineers return home to play the Texas Longhorns on Senior Day next Saturday. Kickoff is set for noon, and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
