WVU Crushes the Barcelona Allstars, Goes Undefeated in Spain

Though this was the most competitive game for WVU in Spain, the Mountaineers pulled away in the second half and crushed the Barcelona Allstars, going 3-0 in Spain, winning by a final score of 98-67.
Derek Culver and Logan Routt led the team in scoring and both went for double-doubles. Culver went for 26 and 12 while Routt had 20 and 10. The twin towers completely controlled the game down low for WVU.
Here are the rest of the stats for the Mountaineers:

It looked like Bob Huggins picked up a technical in the second quarter. He became very animated and there was a technical issued, but it was issued to the WVU bench, not to Huggins specifically. It’s safe to say Huggs did most of the heavy lifting when it comes to earning the technical.
Couple Notes:
Bob Huggins did not receive a technical in the first half. It was on the WVU bench.
Sean McNeil is not likely to play in this game due to illness.

While the competition wasn’t quite up to the level the Mountaineers were hoping for, the trip to Spain was a massive success. The team got to see a part of the world not many college athletes do. On top of that they got to bond as a team and build some momentum going into the 2019-2020 season.
Despite the success, one has to wonder what kind of damage “The Big O” could have done in Spain. With Tshiebwe out Logan Routt established himself as a real threat under the basket. He definitely put the work in during the offseason and looks primed to be a big contributor for the team in the coming season.
