The West Virginia Mountaineers were completely shut down by the Missouri defense. WVU was defeated by Missouri by a final score of 38-7.
At halftime Missouri led 31-0. Kelly Bryant threw for three touchdowns in the first half, including two in the second quarter. The other touchdown came by the way of a Larry Rountree III run.
In the fourth quarter Jack Allison came on in and relief and served up a pick six for the Missouri defense.
The lone score of the game for the Mountaineers came when George Campbell got behind a defense for the second straight game. Austin Kendall hit George Campbell with a 46-yard touchdown pass.
After the disastrous showing against Missouri, the Mountaineers get to come home and take on North Carolina State. The Wolfpack come in 2-0 after blowing out East Carolina and Western Carolina.
