After a huge game in the season opener against Tennessee, West Virginia quarterback Will Grier is earning all kinds of praise. He was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week.
Grier threw for a career high 429 yards and five touchdown passes. While playing in his hometown of Charlotte, Grier completed 73% of his passes in a 40-14 win over Tennessee.
That wasn’t the only award Grier received for his week 1 play. He was also named the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week.
Check out some highlights from the action at Bank of America Stadium.
