Starting Junior Safety to Enter Transfer Portal

Share

Kenny Robinson, Jr., the Junior starting Safety from Wilkinsburg, PA, has decided to enter the Transfer Portal.  In his Sophomore year last season, he was an All Big 12 First Team selection.

Robinson started in 12 games in 2018 at Safety and tied for number 2 in the Big 12 in total interceptions with four.  In addition, he had 77 total tackles, which was 2nd on the team.

There is no way to sugarcoat this one.  Losing Robinson is a big, big loss for the West Virginia defense; he was expected to be a real leader this year.  Stay tuned to Mountaineer Sports for more information when it becomes available.
