Saturday is Senior Day in Morgantown, and that means 14 seniors will put on their jersey for the last time as Mountaineers.

After a rollercoaster season, the game against Iowa State will end the season early for the first time since 2001. Missing out on a bowl game is obviously a disappointing subject for the Mountaineer seniors, but it is a reality. When asked about if the moment has sunk in yet, offensive lineman Pat Eger says it hasn’t, but he knows it will.

“It’s not really hitting me yet,” said Eger. “I’m sure it will after the game.”

The redshirt senior from Jefferson Hills, Pa. is thankful for his time at West Virginia, and the Mountaineer fan base for supporting him along the way. Eger says getting to play one last time in front of the home crowd will be special.
