The first game week is over for the Mountaineers, and the page now turns to the Oklahoma Sooners.
Not only will the Mountaineers travel to Norman this weekend, but they will also open Big 12 conference play.
A big difference from the game a year ago will be at the quarterback position. Trevor Knight led the Sooners last Saturday to a 34-0 victory over Louisiana- Monroe. Sooner Coach Bob Stoops was impressed by Knight’s performance, but also said he still has room to improve.
