TBT was short-lived but it was an excited couple of days for Mountaineer fans. Seeing guys like Da’Sean Butler, John Flowers, Kevin Jones, Truck Bryant and others on the court was great. The lob finish to Jaysean Paige to get the win was great. Unfortunately they were matched up with the four-time champs in the second round, so it didn’t last long. Doesn’t it seem like WVU always has a monster waiting for them in the second round? It was no different for Best Virginia. But now that the TBT is over, what’s next for Mountaineer fans?
Yeah it really wasn’t much of a secret as to what is coming up now that TBT is over. Everyone knows it’s WVU football. There are just 34 days until West Virginia takes on James Madison.
Practice will be firing up really soon. This coming week, actually, with the players reporting Thursday and a practice that is open to the media on Friday morning, followed up with a Coach Brown post-practice interview.
Moving forward from the first week there will be practices and the coaches meeting with the media multiple times a week.

The number one question heading into practice, as everyone knows, is who is going to be the starting quarterback for the season opener? Neal Brown played it as tight to the vest as he could when it comes to this situation. It is anyone’s best guess, but something tells me Brown is much closer to making up his mind than he has led us to believe.
Best Virginia provided us with a fun weekend to root on some former Mountaineers. Now that it’s ended, there will be Mountaineer football practice in the coming days. We will be on the trail, providing daily stories and updates.
