Today, the Mountaineers fell to the Kansas State Wildcats in Manhattan, Kansas, 34-17. Neal Brown’s crew was without Garrett Greene, limiting what they could do in the quarterback running game, and basically taking that package completely out of the offense.

In his postgame interview, Brown spoke about Greene’s injury, and what he expects of the Tallahassee native moving forward.

Brown made it clear that it is an “upper body injury” that Greene is dealing with, and he even gave us an update on his status for the Texas game, listing him as doubtful.

We should expect some official word on his status at some point next week, but it isn’t looking good, as of now.

Greene has tallied 303 rushing yards on 47 carries this year. He has added 4 rushing touchdowns.
