Sagaba Konate, who scored 11 points and 12 rebounds on 5-14 from the field and 1-5 from three point range during a scrimmage game at the G League Elite Camp, was not one of ten players invited to participate in the NBA Combine. The G League Elite Camp always picks approximately the top ten players and they advance to participate in the actual NBA Combine in Chicago. This is yet another setback for Konate as he pursues his dream of playing in the NBA. At this point, it doesn’t feel like returning to West Virginia University is a realistic option for him for some reason, but his hopes of playing professionally in the NBA continues to diminish each day.
