Legendary Additions to the WVU Hall of Fame Saturday
Prior to the WVU-Delaware State football game on Saturday there will be some legendary additions to the WVU Hall of Fame.
Mountaineer great Kevin Pittsnogle will be inducted into the WVU Hall of Fame. The man whose name turned into a verb. “You’ve been Pittsnogled.”
Pittsnogle led West Virginia past an extremely loaded Wake Forest team to the Sweet 16. The Demon Deacons had NBA superstar Chris Paul at point guard.
"It was Pittsnogle. That's all you've got to say, Pittsnogle."

Others in the class include Eddie Becker (men’s basketball), Chrissie Abbott (women’s soccer), Willie Drewrey (football), John Havlik (men’s swimming and diving), Charles Hickman (baseball), and John Spiker (administration/athletic training).
