Prior to the WVU-Delaware State football game on Saturday there will be some legendary additions to the WVU Hall of Fame.

Mountaineer great Kevin Pittsnogle will be inducted into the WVU Hall of Fame. The man whose name turned into a verb. “You’ve been Pittsnogled.”

Pittsnogle led West Virginia past an extremely loaded Wake Forest team to the Sweet 16. The Demon Deacons had NBA superstar Chris Paul at point guard.

Center Dan Mozes will also be inducted on Saturday. Mozes went on to play in the NFL for the Green Bay Packers.

Others in the class include Eddie Becker (men’s basketball), Chrissie Abbott (women’s soccer), Willie Drewrey (football), John Havlik (men’s swimming and diving), Charles Hickman (baseball), and John Spiker (administration/athletic training).

It’s an incredible class for the 2017 WVU Hall of Fame.
