Crawford is a senior from Columbus, GA. During his senior campaign he ran for 1,061 yards to go with seven touchdowns. In Crawford’s junior year he ran for 1,184 yards and 4 scores. He was the first running back to rush for 1,000 yards in consecutive seasons since Noel Devine.
For those questioning Crawford’s decision, it is important to note that he does have children that he needs to support.
It will be a daunting task in Dallas if the Mountaineers are without their starting quarterback and running back. It is still up in the air whether or not Will Grier will play after suffering a serious finger injury against the Texas Longhorns.
After Grier was injured, the Mountaineers dropped their final two games finishing up with a 7-5 season.
