In a fitting finish, Jevon Carter named an Associated Press All-American. he was named to the second-team All-American team. Also, Carter was named a second-team All-American by Sporting News. He was named third-team All-American by NBC Sports, USA Today and National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Carter had an incredible senior season, averaging 17.3 points, 6.6 assists and 3.0 steals per game. He finished up as the all-time steals leader at WVU. He also had the massive accomplishment of becoming the only player in Power 5 history to get 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, 500 assists and 300 steals.

Jevon Carter led the Press Virginia era for all four seasons, teaming up with Daxter Miles Jr. to make the most accomplished backcourt in WVU history.
