Chet Holmgren, the 7’0 190 pound (not a misprint) center from Minneapolis, Minnesota, is blowing up on the recruiting circuit. Holmgren, a 4 star prospect and 25th rated overall prospect in the country in the 2021 according to Rivals, has received 11 offers including Baylor, California, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Texas A & M, Vanderbilt, Western Kentucky, Wisconsin and, just recently, West Virginia.

Kansas and hometown state Minnesota appear to be the early favorites for Holmgren, but if Bob Huggins can get him on campus in Morgantown anything can happen.

Holmgren, a Sophomore, is currently averaging 16 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.8 blocks per game on the UAA Circuit. As you can see in the video below, Holmgren is a complete player, with the ability to create his own shots and shoot from anywhere on the court.
