Four-Star Defensive Back Flips From LSU to West Virginia

Four-Star Defensive Back Flips From LSU to West Virginia

Doug Belk is doing an incredible job recruiting for WVU. Four-star defensive back Dreshun Miller from Eastern Arizona CC has flipped from LSU to West Virginia.

Miller took to Twitter this afternoon to announce his commitment to Dana Holgorsen.

This past weekend was when Miller too his official visit to Morgantown. The week before that was when West Virginia defensive coordinator Tony Gibson paid Miller a visit.

Miller first committed to LSU in June, but since they told him they want to play him at safety, he has wavered on the commitment. Dreshun is looking to play corner and found the perfect opportunity to do so in Morgantown.

The Georgia native gave West Virginia cornerbacks coach Doug Belk a lot of credit in his signing with the Mountaineers. Belk has done a great job with getting successful commitments for the Mountaineers in the Peach State. Miller and Belk have known each other since he spent time as an assistant on the Alabama Crimson Tide coaching staff.

The Morgantown-bound cornerback will have three years to play two, but he is expected to make an impact immediately in the 2019 season. Besides LSU and West Virginia, he also held offers from Houston, Kentucky, Tennessee and Texas Tech.

Miller will sign with WVU during the Early Signing Period and will be enrolled at West Virginia University in January.
