With Best Virginia set to take on Seven City Royalty on Friday at 3 p.m. in Richmond, they have announced their starting five. Seven City Royalty is a collection of Old Dominion alumni. The game will be broadcasted by ESPN and can be watched on the ESPN app. If Best Virginia is able to advance they will then face the winner of Overseas Elite and Hilltop Dawgs (UMBC) on Saturday (July 30) at 5 p.m.

The starting lineup will consist of Juwan Staten, Jaysean Paige, Kevin Jones, Da’Sean Butler and Devin Williams.

And the bench players: Joe Alexander, Truck Bryant, Nathan Adrian, Elijah Macon, John Flowers and Tarik Phillip, per thetournament.com.

The head coach is Jarrod West and the assistants are Billy Hahn, Dave Tallman and Greg Richardson.

It’s a $2 million winner take all basketball tournament featuring 64 teams. The team was put together by general manager/player John Flowers. The WVU alumni is fired up to get another chance to represent the university and state one more time.

Also this gives Mountaineer fans a chance to get fired up about a sporting event while they wait for football season. Mountaineer fans will be tuned from everywhere cheering on familiar faces representing their state.
