15-foot Python on the Loose in Morgantown

There is a 15-foot python on the loose in Morgantown. It escaped from a man’s truck and according to officials it is still on the loose.

The python slipped out of an enclosure in the man’s truck in Sabraton, according to a press release the City of Morgantown released. After escaping the truck it scurried into the woods and climbed a tree. Once the snake climbed the tree he was unable to be located.
The massive python was last spotted near Listravia Avenue at the stop light beside Sheetz.
City of Morgantown officials:
15-foot long python on the loose in Morgantown. Last seen near Listravia Ave next to Sheetz in Sabraton. It got away from a vehicle at around 10:45 last night.

Anyone who locates this python should call 911 and not try to wrangle it themselves. Be aware of the surroundings of children and small pets who are outdoors.
